01 / THE BEGINNING

A Business with Heart and Room to Grow

Chicks & Roses began with Anjulina's passion for natural ingredients, holistic living, and creating handcrafted products that could become part of everyday wellness routines. She had already built a business around her interests and values, developing a collection of body care products, herbal remedies, and farmhouse-inspired goods. She was selling her products, building customer relationships, and establishing a presence in the wholesale market.

But as the business grew, there were important decisions to make.

Which products should become the focus? How should they be named, priced, and presented? How could she expand her existing retail relationships? And what tools would help her connect with customers beyond an individual purchase? Anjulina didn't need someone to come in and replace what she had built. She needed a partner who could help her see the opportunities in front of her, establish clearer priorities, and work through the next steps. She Authentic partnered with Anjulina to strengthen the business from the inside out. Our work extended beyond traditional branding into product development, pricing, packaging, wholesale growth, website creation, marketing, and ongoing business consulting.

The goal was to build a stronger foundation for the business she already believed in.

02 / THE FOUNDATION

Finding Focus Without Losing Personality

Chicks & Roses had a recognizable personality, but its broad product offering made it difficult to communicate a distinct position in the wellness market. Handcrafted body care, herbal remedies, and farmhouse decor all had a place in Anjulina's business. Together, however, they created competing messages about what customers should come to Chicks & Roses for.

We began by looking closely at the products, researching potential customers, evaluating the market, and identifying which offerings best supported the direction Anjulina wanted to pursue.

Through that work, we established a more focused position:

Handcrafted Body Care + Herbal Remedies

Natural, small-batch products made to support simple, everyday wellness routines. This direction moved farmhouse decor away from the center of the business and created space to reach a broader audience of men and women interested in natural body care. We also worked through the brand's messaging and personality.

Rather than adopting a generic luxury skincare aesthetic, we developed a direction inspired by vintage apothecaries, earthy colors, and handcrafted goods. The brand needed to feel knowledgeable and trustworthy while remaining warm, approachable, and a little playful.

Anjulina's faith and personal values remained part of the business's foundation, while the customer-facing messaging placed greater emphasis on product education and everyday wellness.

The objective wasn't to change what made Chicks & Roses hers. It was to give the business a clearer way to communicate it.

03 / PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & PACKAGING

Creating a Collection Customers Could Recognize

One of the most involved parts of our partnership was working through the products themselves. Before we could create a cohesive brand and shopping experience, we needed to examine how the collection was organized, named, priced, and presented. We spent time reviewing individual products, researching customers, evaluating pricing, refining product names, and discussing how shoppers would understand the differences between offerings. These decisions affected more than the appearance of the brand. They influenced how products would be positioned in stores, presented at markets, and sold online.

Our work included:

  • Reviewing and refining the product collection.
  • Researching customer needs and purchasing considerations.
  • Evaluating product pricing and market positioning.
  • Renaming and refining individual products.
  • Creating consistency across the collection.
  • Developing custom packaging and label designs.
  • Establishing a recognizable color system for individual products.

A Color System Designed for Recognition

A central part of the packaging strategy was creating a distinct color variation for each product. Rather than giving every product an identical appearance, we developed a coordinated system that allowed each item to have its own recognizable color identity. The colors were designed to work together as a collection while helping individual products stand apart. This was an important decision for the customer experience. When someone approached a Chicks & Roses display, we wanted them to be able to recognize their favorite products without having to read through every label.

For returning customers, a particular color could become associated with a product they already knew and loved.

For new customers, the variations made the collection easier to explore and distinguish.

The same visual system could carry across product packaging, market displays, retail shelves, and online shopping.

It wasn't simply about creating attractive packaging. It was about making the products easier for customers to recognize, remember, and find again.

Preserving the Personality Behind the Products

Throughout the design process, we were careful not to lose the character that made Chicks & Roses recognizable. The packaging brought together the warmth of handcrafted goods, the familiarity of vintage apothecary design, and a cohesive visual identity that could grow alongside the product collection.

Each product had room for its own personality while remaining part of the larger brand.

04 / BUSINESS CONSULTING & ACCOUNTABILITY

More Than a Plan. A Partner in the Process.

A significant part of our relationship with Chicks & Roses happened outside of the creative work.

Throughout our partnership, Anjulina and I met regularly, often weekly or every other week, to discuss the business, evaluate progress, and determine what needed her attention next.

These conversations gave us time to step away from the everyday demands of running a small business and focus on the decisions that would help Chicks & Roses move forward.

Some weeks, that meant working through product pricing, naming, or packaging.

Other weeks, we discussed wholesale opportunities, retail presentation, website development, marketing, or the practical steps needed to reach new customers.

Rather than handing Anjulina a strategy and expecting her to implement everything independently, we worked through priorities together.

Our ongoing consulting focused on:

  • Identifying the most important business priorities.
  • Breaking larger goals into manageable next steps.
  • Providing accountability between meetings.
  • Working through product, pricing, and marketing decisions.
  • Evaluating retail and wholesale growth opportunities.
  • Addressing challenges and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Helping Anjulina develop confidence in her own business decisions.

These meetings weren't about creating more work.

They were about helping her stay focused on the activities that would make a meaningful difference in the business.

Building Confidence

Alongside the Business

One of our priorities was giving Anjulina the tools and understanding to continue moving forward herself. We wanted her to know why we were making certain decisions, feel prepared to pursue new opportunities, and have practical next steps she could work on between our conversations. The regular meetings created a rhythm of planning, action, and accountability.

They also gave us opportunities to revisit goals, work through challenges, and recognize progress as the business developed. This ongoing partnership became an important part of how She Authentic supported Chicks & Roses—not simply through creative deliverables, but through consistent guidance, encouragement, and practical business consulting.

05 / WHOLESALE & RETAIL GROWTH

Expanding Her Reach, Not Starting From Scratch

When She Authentic began working with Chicks & Roses, Anjulina had already established a presence in the wholesale market. She had created products that retailers wanted to carry and had begun building relationships beyond her direct customers. Our role wasn't to introduce her to wholesale for the first time. It was to help her recognize the opportunities already in front of her and develop a clearer strategy for expanding her reach. Through consulting, research, and business development planning, we worked on strengthening how Chicks & Roses presented its products to potential retail partners.

This included evaluating product pricing, refining the collection, improving packaging consistency, identifying potential retail opportunities, and discussing how to approach new wholesale relationships.

We wanted Anjulina to have the tools and confidence to continue pursuing those opportunities independently.

Through this work, we supported the expansion of Chicks & Roses' retail presence, helping Anjulina grow her reach to more than five locations carrying her products.

Making Every Retail Experience Count

Expanding retail availability was only one part of the strategy. We also looked at how customers would experience Chicks & Roses when encountering its products in stores and at local markets. We discussed booth presentation, product displays, collection organization, and the experience customers would have when approaching her space. The custom packaging color system played a practical role here, helping customers identify familiar products and find their favorites across different locations.

But our conversations didn't stop at the sale.

We also wanted to consider what happened after someone discovered Chicks & Roses at a market or picked up a product in a store. How could that person find the business again? How could Anjulina stay connected with them? And how could an individual purchase become the beginning of an ongoing customer relationship? Those questions helped shape the next stage of our work.

06 / THE DIGITAL EXPERIENCE

Building for the Season She Was In

When we approached the online side of Chicks & Roses, our priority wasn't finding the most advanced website platform or payment processing system. It was finding a practical solution that Anjulina could use, maintain, and grow with. As a small business owner, she needed tools that made sense for her current stage of business, not an expensive or complicated system that created more work than it solved.

She Authentic helped bring Chicks & Roses online, creating a digital place where customers could discover the business, explore its products, and make purchases. We approached the website and e-commerce setup with the same philosophy that guided the rest of the project: build around the business's actual needs.

Connecting the Products, the Business, and the Customer

The website needed to support more than product listings. It needed to introduce Anjulina, communicate the value of her products, help customers understand their uses, and provide a way for people who discovered Chicks & Roses in stores or at markets to find the business again.

Our digital work and website strategy included:

  • Establishing an online presence and shopping experience.
  • Organizing products into understandable categories.
  • Developing brand messaging and website content.
  • Creating opportunities for customer education.
  • Planning visibility for local retail partners.
  • Supporting market and event promotion.
  • Developing pathways for email signups and ongoing customer communication.

We also explored additional content and website features, including educational articles, customer testimonials, frequently asked questions, and a Shop Local experience. These elements were designed to help customers move from discovering a product to understanding the brand and feeling confident purchasing from it. The right solution wasn't necessarily the most sophisticated one. It was the one Anjulina could confidently use in the season of business she was in.

The goal was a manageable digital foundation that could serve the business now and leave room for future growth.

07 / MARKETING & CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS

Turning First-Time Customers Into

Familiar Faces

As Chicks & Roses expanded its retail presence, participated in markets, and developed its online store, we began looking at how those different experiences could work together. Someone might discover a product on a retail shelf, meet Anjulina at a market, or come across the business online.

We wanted each of those experiences to feel connected and give customers an opportunity to stay in touch.

A major part of our consulting focused on helping Anjulina understand the value of growing her own audience through email marketing and an ongoing online presence. Social media could help new customers discover Chicks & Roses, but an email list would give her a more direct way to continue conversations with people who had already expressed interest.

We discussed how to collect email addresses at markets, encourage website visitors to subscribe, and create reasons for customers to stay connected.

Marketing Built Around Relationships

Our marketing direction focused on:

  • Growing an email list through markets, the website, and customer interactions.
  • Building a consistent online presence.
  • Sharing product education and ingredient information.
  • Introducing new products and seasonal offerings.
  • Promoting local markets and retail partnerships.
  • Encouraging repeat purchases through ongoing communication.
  • Helping customers feel connected to the person behind the products.

We also developed an evergreen content strategy around topics including herbal ingredients, small-batch body care, wellness routines, and product uses. The purpose was to give Anjulina educational content that could serve customers across her website, social media, Pinterest, and email marketing.

08 / THE RESULT

A Stronger Foundation, From Product to Purchase

When our partnership began, Chicks & Roses had a passionate founder, a growing collection of products, and an established presence in the wholesale market. The opportunity was to bring greater clarity and consistency to the business while equipping Anjulina to pursue the next stage of growth. Through our work together, we helped connect the pieces of the business, from product development and packaging to retail expansion, online shopping, and customer communication.

Our work included:

  • Refining the brand's position around handcrafted body care and herbal wellness.
  • Customer research and audience development.
  • Product evaluation, naming, and pricing guidance.
  • Custom packaging design and individual product color identities.
  • Regular business consulting and accountability meetings.
  • Strategic guidance and tools for expanding existing wholesale relationships.
  • Supporting retail growth to more than five locations.
  • Market presentation and customer experience planning.
  • Establishing an online shopping presence appropriate for the business's needs.
  • Website messaging and customer education development.
  • Email list growth and relationship-based marketing strategy.
  • Coordinated content and promotional campaign planning.

The result was more than a refreshed visual identity. Chicks & Roses gained a clearer product collection, a more recognizable presentation, expanded retail availability, and a practical online foundation. Just as importantly, Anjulina had ongoing guidance and accountability as she worked through decisions and pursued new opportunities.

Each part of the business was developed to support the others. A customer could discover a product at a local market, recognize it later on a retail shelf, find it again online, and have an opportunity to stay connected through email.

That connected experience was central to the work we developed together.

THE SHE AUTHENTIC APPROACH

Building for the Business in Front of Us

Chicks & Roses is an example of why meaningful brand development doesn't always begin with a new logo or a larger website. Sometimes, it begins with sitting across from a business owner and working through the decisions that have been keeping her from moving forward. For Anjulina, that meant refining products, evaluating pricing, developing packaging, expanding wholesale opportunities, and creating practical ways to reach and stay connected with customers.

It also meant having someone to regularly talk through ideas with, help identify priorities, and provide accountability as she put those plans into action. We didn't set out to give Chicks & Roses the most complicated systems or make the business look bigger than it was. We worked to build what made sense for its current season, while giving Anjulina the tools and direction to continue growing.

The most meaningful part of this partnership wasn't any single design, website, or marketing campaign. It was helping a business owner connect her vision to the decisions and actions needed to move it forward.

That's the kind of work we believe in at She Authentic.

Before we build the brand, we build belief.
