NEXT PROJECT

01 / THE BEGINNING

A New Chapter for an Established Attorney

When Caroline Ortego stepped away from a previous business partnership to establish her own law firm, she wasn't starting over in her legal career. She was bringing years of experience, professional relationships, and a clear vision for the kind of practice she wanted to build. What she needed was a brand and business presence that could stand independently, communicate her expertise, and reflect the personal care she wanted clients to experience.

She Authentic partnered with Caroline during this transition, helping establish the creative and strategic foundation for Ortego Law Firm. Our work began before there was an independent brand identity, website, or cohesive marketing presence.

Together, we began building a business presence that reflected both the attorney Caroline already was and the firm she envisioned.

02 / THE FOUNDATION

Establishing Credibility Without

Losing Connection

Caroline was an experienced attorney, but Ortego Law Firm was a new independent business.

The challenge was creating a distinct identity that communicated the credibility of her legal experience while preserving the warmth and personal attention she brought to her practice.

We began by exploring her vision, the clients she wanted to serve, the services she wanted to prioritize, and how she wanted people to feel when working with her.

From those conversations, we developed the firm's brand identity and strategic direction.

Our work included:

  • Establishing an independent visual identity.
  • Defining the firm's personality, communication style, and brand voice.
  • Clarifying market positioning around estate planning and probate.
  • Organizing supporting services within a cohesive brand.
  • Developing messaging that communicated experience, trust, compassion, and professionalism.

A central part of the strategy was ensuring the brand felt like Caroline.

We wanted prospective clients to recognize the attorney behind the business, not simply another legal services provider.

The result was a brand foundation that balanced professional authority with personal connection.

03 / THE DIGITAL EXPERIENCE

Creating a Digital Home for the Firm

With the brand direction established, we moved into designing and developing Ortego Law Firm's website. Built on Squarespace, the website brought the firm's visual identity, messaging, and services together into one cohesive experience. It needed to do more than look professional. The website needed to establish credibility, introduce Caroline, explain the firm's services, and help prospective clients navigate important legal decisions with greater clarity.

Our website work included:

  • Website strategy, structure, design, and development.
  • Homepage messaging and service positioning.
  • Website copywriting and content organization.
  • Consultation-focused calls to action.
  • Educational content and resource integration.
  • Landing pages supporting marketing initiatives.
  • Consistent visual and verbal communication throughout the site.

Rather than treating the website as a standalone deliverable, we developed it as the central hub for the firm's growing marketing presence.

It became a place where prospective clients could learn, connect, and take the next step toward working with Caroline.

04 / THE ONGOING PARTNERSHIP

Beyond the Website

Our relationship extended well beyond the initial brand and website launch.

As Chief Marketing Officer, I continued partnering with Caroline to shape the firm's marketing direction, strengthen its visibility, and ensure consistency across communications.

This meant looking beyond individual marketing tasks and considering how each effort supported the larger business vision.

Our ongoing work included:

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

Establishing priorities, identifying opportunities for visibility, aligning marketing efforts with the firm's services, and providing ongoing strategic direction

Creative Direction & Brand Management

Maintaining consistency across the website, social media, campaigns, educational materials, and client-facing communications.

Content & Communication

Developing educational social media content, writing captions, planning campaigns, coordinating newsletters, and making complex legal topics more approachable.

Marketing Operations

Organizing content schedules, managing workflows, coordinating approvals, and establishing processes to support consistent execution.

Community & Educational Initiatives

Supporting educational events, community engagement campaigns, and new resources designed to strengthen the firm's relationships with its audience. Instead of asking only, “What should we post this week?” we were also asking, “How does this support the kind of firm we're building?”

Making Legal Education More Accessible

One of our priorities was helping prospective clients feel more informed and confident about important legal decisions.

Estate planning and probate can be overwhelming subjects, especially when families begin considering how to protect the people, responsibilities, and even pets who depend on them.

Rather than relying on fear-based messaging or overly technical explanations, we developed an educational approach centered on answering real questions with clarity and compassion.

This included a 12-page resource, Five Things to Consider Before Your Estate Planning Consultation, along with supporting website messaging and an email follow-up sequence.

We also developed educational resources around pet emergency planning, helping pet owners think through what would happen to their animals if an unexpected emergency left them unable to provide care. These resources encouraged families to consider important details, identify trusted caregivers, and make plans before an emergency occurred. Alongside these resources, we supported the development of educational initiatives, including The Family Legacy Collective and Legacy Masterminds.

Each initiative was designed to make important planning conversations more approachable while creating opportunities for the firm to share its expertise, serve its community, and build relationships beyond the consultation room.

05 / THE RESULT

A Foundation Built to Grow

When our work began, Caroline was entering a new chapter as an independent law firm owner. There was a business to establish, an identity to create, and a marketing presence to build.

Through our partnership, She Authentic helped develop the creative and strategic infrastructure needed to introduce Ortego Law Firm to the market and support its continued development.

Together, we established:

  • A distinct, independent brand identity.
  • Clear positioning centered on estate planning and probate.
  • A professionally designed website reflecting the firm's personality and expertise.
  • Consistent messaging across digital and marketing channels.
  • Educational resources and lead-nurturing communications.
  • A structured content and marketing approach.
  • Marketing systems supporting consistent execution.
  • Additional opportunities for education and community engagement.

As Caroline's practice developed, the brand and marketing infrastructure evolved alongside it. The firm's business success reflects Caroline's expertise, dedication, and leadership. She Authentic's role was to help create and maintain a brand and marketing presence that supported her vision.

THE SHE AUTHENTIC APPROACH

Before We Build the Brand, We Build Belief.

This project represents more than a website launch.

It demonstrates what can happen when brand development, strategic marketing, creative execution, and business leadership work together.

From our earliest conversations about Caroline's independent practice to the development of her brand, website, marketing systems, and educational initiatives, She Authentic served as a creative and strategic partner through an important season of business ownership.

The goal was never simply to create a brand that looked established.

It was to build a business presence that genuinely reflected the experience, values, and vision of the person behind it.
